The Buckland What?

The Buckland Shag Morris Men appear throughout the summer at pubs in the Reigate area. The season starts on May Day, at dawn, at Buckland Pond (though an early appearance may be made to celebrate St George's day on April 23rd).

After May Day, the side performs most Friday evenings until the beginning of September, when practice sessions resume, and comes out of hiding again to perform the mummers' play at the Skimmington Castle.
